Event set for Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at Gheens Academy on the campus of Louisville Male High School
Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) families and community members are encouraged to attend a Community Forum and Information Fair hosted by the Jefferson County Board of Education (JCBE) on Oct. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Gheens Academy (4425 Preston Highway) on the campus of Louisville Male High School.
The Community Forum and Information Fair is an added opportunity for the community to be involved in and informed about the transformative work happening in JCPS. During the event, families will be able to meet with their JCBE members and district leadership as well as share additional feedback about student assignment and facilities during the community forum portion of the event.
Additionally, more than a dozen JCPS team members will be available to answer questions and provide information to families about several topics, including the JCPS Backpack of Success Skills, nutrition services, racial equity, school culture and climate, student supports and transportation services.
