COURSES 1-4
All incoming 8th graders are required to take
English, Math, Science,
Social Studies &
Freshman Seminar.
At Eastern, we have three levels of courses for English and Math:
Comprehensive/Regular, Honors, and Advanced. In addition, we offer an AP Human Geography course for Advanced students.
COURSE 5
Freshman Seminar is a required course for freshmen and is designed to prepare students to transition successfully to high school. This college and career seminar course embeds industry and postsecondary field trips, guest speakers, and hands-on learning experiences.
The goal is for students to engage in personal and career exploration, so that they may identify and explore the career academy pathways within their school.
COURSES 6-7
1 semester of Physical
Education and 1 semester of Health are required to graduate.
Most students decide to take this class during freshman year. If you would like to take PE/Health please request it under electives.
