Hello! I have worked with JCPS for 12 years, spending most of that time in the classroom teaching Mathematics. I have only worked at Ramsey since being hired full time in 2011 and I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. I spent two years as an Academic Instructional Coach and I am excited to be the 8th Grade Assistant Principal this year. I love being involved and seeing our students do amazing things in and out of the classroom. Looking forward to building relationships with all of our 8th graders and watching them mature into young adults ready to take on their high school adventure.

Before coming to Ramsey, I worked for eight years as a middle and high school Social Studies teacher. I enjoy working with our 8th grade students and parents as they navigate their high school choices and prepare for future endeavors. This year the students will showcase their high level learning through the creation of awesome artifacts that they will display in their digital backpacks. All 8th graders will defend their backpacks by the end of the school year. It is an honor to see how the students are growing during this process.
