Valley Girl's softball had a long tradition of sportsmanship but found a home in 2001 with the girl’s softball "Field of Dreams" opens. In 2002 girl’s softball field was named in the honor Arthur "Smitty" Smith who was the president of Athletic Booster Club in 1988 and had many contributions to Valley Athletics.
