When requested, Supply Services will pick up all obsolete furniture and equipment. The Surplus Pick-Up Form is available on page 22 of Fixed Asset Guidelines. Equipment, furniture, or material removed from facilities is assessed according to condition and handled in one of three ways:
- If unusable, items are disposed of or recycled.
- If usable, items are warehoused at Farmington Warehouse for reassignment.
- If unneeded by the district, items will be sold via an online auction site. Coming soon!
For all pick-ups, gather materials in a first-floor location. Exceptions would be second-floor media centers or computer labs.
