Notice: JCPS administrators and staff will not provide you with student data or other personally identifiable information directly as this violates privacy laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). In addition, they cannot legally agree to conduct research or sign contracts without review and approval by the JCPS General Counsel and the JCPS IRB to comply with other federal and Kentucky laws and Jefferson County Board of Education (JCBE) policies.
Primary Data
All requests to collect new data and information (e.g., surveys) from JCPS schools, students, or staff must be approved by the JCPS IRB, including from partners and JCPS staff pursuing degrees.
Public Datasets
Common questions can be answered with our extensive publicly available datasets. Yearly enrollment, demographic statistics, graduate outcomes, annual survey results and school performance profiles are all available on demand.
