ESL Teacher 

Hi! My name is Natalia Mendez and I am one of the three ESL teachers at Chancey Elementary. I currently work with the 3rd-4th grade multilingual students. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and hold a BA in English as a Second Language and English Language Arts from 'Universidad del Este'. I love teaching and cultivating meaningful relationships with our multilingual students. I also love teaching our students to advocate for themselves and teach them the importance of their voices and that they matter in our school and community.  I can't wait to see you this year!

Hello!   My name is Aneira Urieta. I am one of the ESL teachers at Chancey Elementary. My students are very important to me. I am here to assist, teach, and care for them. My classroom is always available to assist you.  

Hola!! My name is Mrs. Leslie Sudduth and this is my sixth year as a Chancey Cardinal. I work with Mrs. Aneira as a BAI (Bilingual Associate Instructor). My job is to provide support in the classroom for students in grades K-2 and their families who are learning English as part of this. I help contact families and work with the classroom teachers to provide language support so students can more effectively participate in their classrooms.
