The Child Development Center provides quality childcare at a reasonable fee for students enrolled in the TAPP Program. We are licensed Stars for Kids Now rated facility. Our goal is to meet the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs of infants and children ages 2 weeks to 3 years of age. The Child Care staff members are highly qualified; trained in CPR, First Aid and each maintains 18 hours of developmental in-service per year. We create a warm, safe and healthy learning environment that nurtures the growth and development of each individual child. Activities are designed in all developmental areas to challenge and encourage each child's development. TAPP students are afforded the opportunity to co-op in the Child Development Center. The co-op experience serves as an avenue for a student to practice the child-care skills learned in class as well as an opportunity to explore Early Childhood Education as a possible career choice.
