TJMS Mission; At TJMS, we strive to build a supportive school community where our students can grow in a safe, respectful, and equitable environment through positive learning experiences collaboratively created using high-quality curriculum, student goal-setting, and school wide consistency and communication of expectations and results. 

Thomas Jefferson Middle receives Title 1 funding from the federal government as a result of our student population that receives free/reduced lunch.  These funds are utilized by providing additional staff to support Math and Reading Interventions for students, as well as Science supports.  Funds are used to focus on closing the gap areas in the areas of Math, Reading, and Science.
