Named after George D. Unseld, who served JCPS and the Newburg community for many years; George Unseld Early Childhood Learning Center continues to build on his legacy to serve our community. We serve many of our districts youngest learners through a range of programs designed to make the most of each child's natural desire to learn. Our faculty and staff collaborate with families to assist in developing a strong educational foundation that will follow our students from preschool to adulthood.

At Unseld, our classrooms are safe and inviting where students are eager to learn. Within our walls we house:

• 20 Classrooms

• Approximately 400 students from diverse backgrounds

• 18 different languages spoken

• Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy

• Early Childhood Response to Intervention

• Implement PreK On My Way Curriculum

• Incorporates Early Childhood Standards and Skills to ensure Kindergarten Readiness
