Hello,

I am Kimberly Talibou, the Family Resource Coordinator here at Wheeler Elementary. I am excited to serve the wonderful students and families of this great school!

This center's main goal is to remove non-academic barriers to learning and enhance student academic success.

Creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that empowers parents and families to take an active role in their child's education is my top priority.

Our Family Resource Center provides a wide range of services:

• Attendance Concerns

• Housing and Food insecurity

• Healthcare Access/Referrals (Medical, Dental, Eyecare)

• Clothing & School supplies

• Holiday Assistance

• Tutoring

• Counseling & Mental Health service referrals

• After-School Activities

• Kindergarten Readiness

• New and Expectant Parents, Middle School Transition assistance

• English as a Second Language (ESL) Program

• And So Much More!!!

If you need to make a referral for a student or family, please submit your request using the FRC Referral Form. Center hours are 7:00am -3:00pm.
