J.B. Atkinson Academy Support Team

Mental Health Services

I am here to ensure JBA students have someone to talk to about anything they or their family feels is a concern in their lives.  Sometimes, it's just a moment to work through something difficult, and other times, more support is needed.  When more support is needed, I contact parents about the different options available to their children.

I am here to provide individual and group counseling.  If you would like someone outside of the school or who can visit you at home, I can refer you to someone you and your child feel comfortable with.

Please complete the Counseling Services form if you or your child want counseling.
