The goal of the FRYSC is to remove social barriers to ensure student success.

The Kentucky Family Resource and Youth Services Centers program was established as a component of the 1990 Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA). It is designed to provide school-based family support through programs and partnerships that promote early learning and successful transition to school, academic achievement and well-being, and graduation and transition to adult life.
