College Applications- What you need to complete an application

  • Visit the school's website and make sure you understand the application deadlines and requirements for admission

  • Complete the online application from their site- First time, Freshman Application

  • Pay the application fee or get a fee waiver from the counseling center(if applicable) 

  • Request your transcript on Parchment to be sent to the school

Summer is a great opportunity to visit campuses that interest you. You may be wondering how you set one up. Here's how:

  1. visit the school's website, adventure around and make sure this is a place you'd like to spend 4 or more years

  2. If it's a yes find "future students" section, sometimes it's called something different

  3. Then find schedule a visit, or if they have a search bar, search "schedule a visit"

  4. Follow the directions to request a visit that works for your family

What if I can't make a visit in person? How do I know it's a good choice? Below are some things to help you decide.

  • Visit the school's website, and really look around at the programs, clubs, 

  • Take a Virtual tour

  • Check out social media and follow school organization accounts (be careful many are not official pages)

  • Attend college fairs virtually or in-person locally (Central's will this Fall)

Please only sign-up for schools you are GENUINELY interested in. Poor conduct during meetings, or not going back to classes after we are done will result in you not being able to participate in future college groups and/or field trips.

Central 's College Campus Visits will happen in Spring 2024, we strongly encourage families to visit campuses in the Fall on their own
