About Us

JCPSeSchool is an online option for students to take online high school courses. JCPSeSchool is a program under Pathfinder School of Innovation.  Our school was rebranded in 2021 to become the K-12 virtual option for our school district.  As of the 2023-24 school year, Pathfinder is a middle and high school program. JCPSeSchool began as credit recovery for the Jefferson County Public School district in Louisville, Kentucky in 1999 under Jefferson County High School. The program quickly spread to local high schools, private schools, and home school students. Schools from various states use our courses. We offer high school courses that can be taken for initial credit, credit recovery, or enrichment. Our teachers are highly qualified and are employees of Jefferson County Public Schools. Teachers develop and teach their courses in Blackboard. Our courses are open entry/open exit. We enjoy helping students achieve their graduation goals.
