In the case we have inclement weather, we plan to continue on with Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) as much as possible. With advance notice, we will either send students home with a device or have copies prepared in students' possession. Copies of the work are located under each Grade level on this page. Teachers and staff will be available to support students via the digital platform, phone or email. Thanks for your support!

What is short-term NTI?

Short-term NTI is asynchronous (self-paced, non-live) instruction provided by the school, accompanied by teacher and/or admin office hours for live support. 

What will the work look like?

Depending on your student's grade level each teacher will provide explicit directions and support on choice boards or packets. This work will support learning that has already occurred, and office hours will be available.

Where do students find their work?

Student directions are located under the Grade level to the left on this page. Each teacher also has provided the information to students so they know where to find it (ie backpack, take-home folder, etc…) and what to do.

What are students expected to do? 

Students are expected to follow the directions of the teachers and attempt to complete the work that is assigned. Teachers will be available to support, answer questions, or clarify anything students need.

Attendance

On NTI days, student participation will be tracked. This may include submission of work, time spent on assignments or participation in office hours.

Communication

We will provide updates through School Messenger, the school website and Facebook. Teachers may also communicate via email and classroom communication tools (Class Dojo, Remind, etc). Reach out to your child's teacher for help with NTI. All staff will check school email from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you contact teachers after the instructional day ends, expect a reply the following school day.
