🚨 NTI DAYS | Due to an increase in illness-related student and staff absences, JCPS will utilize Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Days on Friday, February 7, 2025 and Monday, February 10, 2025. All athletic and extracurricular activities will continue as planned. Families and employees should see their email for additional information.

TJ Middle School is hosting a Valentine Dance on Friday, February 14th. The dance will be from 3:30-5:00PM at school. Students must be picked up by 5:00PM at the latest. Please arrive at the back of the building for pick up.
The cost of entry to the dance is $5. Tickets will be sold February 4-February 13 from 8:00-8:40AM in the cafeteria. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13th. A parent or legal guardian must sign the permission slip below for a student to stay for the dance. No tickets will be sold the day of.
Concessions will be available for sale at the dance. Make sure to bring cash to be able to purchase these items.
In order to make this a positive event for our students, the APs/Principal reserves the right to deny any student entry to the dance due to behavior concerns. No refund will be given.
THE PERMISSION SLIP BELOW MUST BE SIGNED/TURNED IN WHEN YOU PURCHASE YOUR TICKET. NO REFUNDS (even for behavioral reasons).

✅ BOARD UPDATE | During yesterday's Jefferson County Board of Education (JCBE) meeting, the Constitutional Oath of Office was administered to JCBE members Gail Logan Strange (District 1), Tricia Lister (District 2), Trevin Bass (District 4), and Taylor Everett (District 7), who were elected in November.
Also during last night's meeting, Dr. Corrie Shull was elected chairperson of the JCBE, and James Craig was elected vice chairperson.
Thank you to all of our JCBE members for their dedication to JCPS!
