The Bears have won the last three Region 6 championships

August 31, 2023—The Butler Traditional High School Bears boys' soccer team has its eyes on the prize.
"It's hard to win just one," Butler head coach Mario Carrillo said. "But to have the opportunity to win a fourth in a row is special."
The Bears are attempting to win their fourth-straight Region 6 championship, something the program has never done before.
The current senior class has been part of each regional title team.
"Last year, I was like, if we win it, I might not celebrate as much," senior Ali Alshabot said. "But I end up celebrating more than I did the last year."
Butler has won six of the last seven regional championships.
Through the first six games, the Bears hold a 3-1-2 record.
