I am so excited to be the Assistant Principal of Shacklette Elementary School! Over my last 20+ years with JCPS I have worked in schools across the district serving in a variety of leadership roles. I believe as leaders in education we must develop deep relationships with the students, staff, and families that we serve.
I am a proud JCPS graduate of Seneca High School and the first in my family to attend college. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Louisville, master's of arts in teaching from the University of Louisville, and my educational specialist principal certification from the University of the Cumberlands.
I am passionate about providing equitable access to a high quality education for ALL students. I know that with hard work every Shacklette Shark has endless potential for their future. I will strive each day to show each member of the Shacklette community that I am here to serve them and care about their social, emotional, and academic success.
