Breckinridge Metropolitan High School is a transitional alternative program serving Jefferson County Public School students, in Louisville, Kentucky. While we understand that students come to our school having faced a variety of obstacles, we believe that each student brings to the table his or her own unique talents, abilities, interests, and aspirations. It is our job to identify those characteristics and use them to accelerate learning. Our smaller class sizes and personalized approach to learning allow our staff to build strong meaningful relationships with students, setting the foundation for academic growth and greater achievement. Breck Metro's mission is to educate all students within a caring and supportive environment so that they are prepared, resilient, and competent individuals.
