Welcome! My name is Carla Wright, and I'm the Youth Services Coordinator for Breckinridge Metropolitan High School and Minor Daniels Academy . This is my 19th year working for JCPS, and I'm looking forward to working with every family throughout the year.

What is the Youth Service Center? Family Resource and Youth Service Centers (FRYSC) were established as a component of the Kentucky Education and Reform ACT of 1990. These school-based centers are designed to help students succeed in school by minimizing or eliminating non-cognitive barriers to learning. Each center offers a unique blend of programs and services to address the needs of all students and their families to enhance student academic success.

Breckinridge Metropolitan High (Youth Service Center) conducts programs that offer the following services:

*Health and Social Service agency referrals

*Career Exploration and Development

*Summer and Part-Time Development

*Substance Abuse Education and Counseling

*Family Crisis and Mental Health Counseling

*Education Support and Parent/Family Support

*Basic Needs (uniforms, school supplies, rent, utility assistance referrals)

*If you have immediate needs or questions, please contact me at (502)485-6678 or Email Carla Wright
