The mission of the Shelby library is to provide a great collection of books, to successfully teach students information literacy skills, and to instill a joy of reading that comes from understanding various texts in all Shelby Sharks.
The Shelby library belongs to all of us. The library door is always open, and we welcome any research requests, literacy questions, and book suggestions to make our library better. When materials are chosen for our collection, they are age-appropriate and culturally sensitive. These are the wonder years for our students, and we are committed to inspiring that wonder.
