JCPS Health Services Offers School Physicals and Vaccinations
JCPS students who need a physical or vaccinations to play sports or enroll in school are getting free ones from JCPS Health Services clinics this summer. More than 150 students showed up for the first two clinics including one at Valley High School.

Early Childhood Center Groundbreaking
Jefferson County Public Schools broke ground on a new early childhood center. The stand-alone facility is being built on property adjacent to Watterson Elementary School. It will have 23 classrooms for up to 460 three- and four-year-old students and is expected to open in August 2026.

JCPS Camp Vision
Camp Vision is for elementary and middle school students who are blind or visually impaired. About 30 students are registered to attend the camp which has them working with assistive technology, learning independent living skills, sensory efficiency skills and doing fun recreational activities.
