Fairdale High has a proud tradition of preparing its students for postsecondary life in college and career. Long respected for its highly regarded magnet programs, such as heavy equipment, diesel mechanic, and community emergency services (police, fire, and EMS), Fairdale joined the Academies of Louisville in the 2018- 19 school year. The Academies provide students with real-world experience and learning opportunities.
