This pathway prepares individuals for admission to a professional pathway in Nursing. Students learn some of the basic nursing tasks, such as taking blood pressure, listening through stethoscopes, learning medical terminology, medical math, and anatomy.
The pathway is an in-depth, hands on practice of all aspects of visual art using various media. Students will accumulate a comprehensive art portfolio throughout their four years in the pathway.
This pathway is for wind and percussion musicians. Students will experience a variety of musical styles and genres. They will gain technical proficiency on their chosen instrument while preforming in multiple ensembles.
This pathway is a blend of programming, cyber security, and hardware engineering disciplines. Students will learn to research, design, develop, and test computer systems and components. The courses provide a hands-on, context-based approach to prepare students to become the next generation of engineers and cyber professionals. The coursework explores topics such as robotics, programming, electricity, and security concerns for todays digital society. v
This pathway prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain diesel engines in vehicles such as automobiles, buses, ships, trucks, railroad locomotives, and construction equipment; as well as stationary diesel engines in electrical generators and related equipment.
This pathway will focus on the theory and practice of fires and firefighting. It will include intruction in fire chemistry, combustible materials, building construction, fire codes and related laws, fire command, fire prevention/inspection, fire/arson investigation, occupational safety, equipment operation, emergency medicine and communication.
This pathway will prepare students for construction building jobs, infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, and ports), and in mining and timber operations. A trained and experienced equipment operator provides necessary skills for any project that requires moving and transporting heavy materials or that demands any kind of earthmoving.
This pathway prepares individuals to preform the duties of police and public security officers, including patrol and investigative activities, traffic control, crowd control and public relations, witness interviewing, evidence collection and management, basic crime prevention methods, weapon and equipment operation and maintenance, report preparation, communicating with the public, and other routine law enforcement responsibilities.
