Our Mission: to prepare each student for post-secondary education

Fairdale will engage all students in high quality, innovative, and successful learning experiences in every classroom.  Fairdale will be a model of innovative and equitable teaching and lifelong learning.  Fairdale students will be critical thinkers capable of persevering through complex concepts.  Fairdale will remain among the most highly desired schools in JCPS by students, parents, community, and employees.

• We believe that all students can learn given the proper time and motivation.  We commit to working with each student on a standards-based curriculum, common assessments, using data to drive instruction, requiring demonstrations of learning, developing individualized intervention and acceleration plans, and using all time available until ALL students have achieved success.  

• We believe that effective school improvement is a collaborative culture focused on student learning.  We commit to collaborate effectively through implementation of  the PLC process, inclusion of  the academy process, continued professional development, and to put team before individual.

• We believe in the partnership between school, parents/guardians and community.  We commit to diligently create and maintain lines of timely communication with all stakeholders.
