Recruitment of candidates by HYA
In September 2024, Dr. Marty Pollio announced his plans to retire at the end of the school year, after 8 years as superintendent of Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS). The Jefferson County Board of Education (JCBE) has selected Hazard Young Attea Associates (HYA) as the search firm for this important process.
We invite students, employees, parents, and the broader Louisville community to help shape the search for the next superintendent. Your input will guide the qualities and priorities we look for in our new leader. By participating, you ensure that the selection process aligns with the needs and values of the community.
Please take a few moments to share your thoughts by completing the survey in your preferred language. The survey is open until February 14, 2025.
This timeline is tentative and may change.
