Student Assignment—Change of Address

Maintaining correct address information is important so you can receive information about your child from JCPS—and to make sure your child's school has accurate emergency contact information.
To change your address, you should provide a new proof of address to the school or the JCPS Registration Site (4309 Bishop Lane).
Proof of your residence can be any of the below items but MUST show your current address and be in your name. Current is defined as within the past 30 days.
Utility bill (water or electric/gas bill)
Lease
House contract
Paycheck or paycheck stub
SSI or other government check
Or you may update your address or provide proof of address electronically.
If utilities are not in your name, please complete the Residency Affidavit form to submit in addition to proof of address (LG&E/water bill, paycheck stub, lease/housing contract, or government-issued check).
JCPS schools will enroll students regardless of immigration status or fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence. Contact the Student Equity and Community Engagement Office at 485-3650 for assistance.
