Oct. 2, 2023—Dr. Rob Fulk has been appointed interim chief operations officer for Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS).

In the interim position, Fulk will oversee a wide range of responsibilities critical to the smooth functioning of JCPS, including transportation, facilities, nutrition services, and more.

“I’m honored to have this opportunity to lead the JCPS Operations division. We are the wheels that keep our district moving forward, and I’m excited about the opportunity to support our schools in this new way.”

Before JCPS, Fulk worked as an assistant superintendent, principal, and teacher for Trimble, Bullitt, and Oldham County Public Schools, respectively.

“Dr. Fulk is a respected educator and leader known for his strong problem-solving skills, ability to motivate teams, and passion to create positive change for students,” said Dr. Marty Pollio, JCPS superintendent. “I have no doubt his proven track record of success will continue.”
