Shawnee's female students hear from women in industry
Pilots, mechanics, and airport staff were among the aviation employees that dozens of middle school and freshman girls at the Academy@Shawnee got a chance to hear from during the school's second Girls in Aviation event. Several tables inside the hangar at Shawnee were manned by employees of UPS and several other aviation-related entities, sharing their experiences and answering questions from the students.
