Jeffersontown High senior Lukus McDaniels enjoys being a peer tutor in the MSD program
September 20, 2023—Jeffersontown High School (J-Town) senior Lukus McDaniels is a standout for the 5-0 Chargers.
"He brings a lot. He brings a lot of leadership. He's a dynamic player and he's just a massive kid in general," J-Town Head Football Coach Donte Ellison said. "I joked around with him, telling him that there's not that many people in the world that are 6'5, 240."
While his size and leadership help the Chargers on the field, his leadership is a helpful tool off the field, too. He is also a peer tutor in J-Town High's Moderate-to-Severe Disabilities (MSD) Program.
"In that class, it's all just positivity," McDaniels said. "I just like being in that class with them and being positive with them."
