Lit & Boxing camp keeps students engaged during Spring Break

April 5, 2023—The JCPS Diversity, Equity, and Poverty Department's "Lit &" camps deliver a one-two punch, combining literacy with themes that interest and engage students.
See how students learned boxing fundamentals while exploring Muhammad Ali's impact on the world at the Lit & Boxing camp.
Camps were held each day of Spring Break at five schools and featured an activity paired with literature or a book that related to the activity. Topics covered this Spring Break included:
