Happy FRYSC Week Elvira Paguada-Gutierrez Hawthorne Elementary School “I love being a Family Resource Center Coordinator because it allows me to serve the students and families of Hawthorne Elementary in meaningful ways. Growing up, my family received many of the same services I now provide, so I understand the importance of meeting people where they are with compassion and without judgment. Everything I do is for the children and their families, ensuring they feel supported and valued as part of our community.”
Happy FRYSC Week Dr. Frank Mays King Elementary School “I love my job as a FRYSC because I get to help remove barriers. I get to help students and families during the good times and during the not so good times. I get to witness students and families grow into and become great and successful, and I’m blessed to be able to be a part of that. As a FRYSC, we truly do “Whatever It Takes.”
Happy FRYSC Week Stephanie Holton Western High School “It has been an honor to identify and reinforce the strengths and beauty of teens on a daily basis in my role as Youth Service Center Coordinator. The relationships that have been built fill my heart with joy. Western High School and the students are where I was meant to serve.”
Happy FRYSC Week Dr. Kevin Gunn Olmsted Academy North “Each day brings new challenges that allow me to find ways to help my students. It’s never boring. Being a coordinator helps me create a lasting impact on future generations.”
Happy FRYSC Week Nicole Clark Young Elementary School “I love my job as a FRYSC because every day brings something new and exciting, keeping me on my toes. I have the opportunity to work closely with students and their families, which allows me to make a meaningful impact in their lives and build strong, supportive relationships. Additionally, the support and collaboration from my colleagues makes every challenge easier.”
