This is my 20th year as a school counselor and my 28th year with Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS). In my current role, I provide guidance and support to students in grades K-2 at Norton Elementary. My focus is on fostering personal growth and development, helping students build the skills necessary to become well-rounded individuals.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Counseling from the University of Louisville. I reside in Frankfort with my wife and son, and in my free time, I enjoy playing in the “Derby City Brass Band” and traveling.

I have been a proud member of the Norton family for almost 20 years, wearing many hats and playing different roles within our community. As a School Counselor, I provide support to Norton students in 3rd through 5th grade. I aim to assist students in their personal, academic, and career development by equipping them with the necessary tools to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I am committed to creating a positive and nurturing environment where children can flourish and realize their full potential.

I have my bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Kentucky and my master's degree in School Counseling from Campbellsville University. Outside of work, I'm happily married and a proud parent of two amazing sons. They keep me busy, but I love spending time crafting, boating, and traveling with them.
