Transportation Reminders

NEW! ATTENTION CAR RIDER LINE PARENTS: 

Please do not jump the car rider line. Many parents are waiting patiently to pick up their students. The line is generally completed by 2:45. If you need you student sooner please park on Main Street and enter the building the pick up your student.

Arrival

Please do not drop students off at the back entrance through the teacher parking lot. This is prohibited.

Please do not drop students off in the front of the building or on Main St.

School doors open at 7:00 am. Students do not have access to the building prior to 7:00 am

Car Riders and Walkers enter the school through the gym doors on Rowan St.

Please do not drop your children off on the opposite side of the street on Rowan.

Students must use the crossing guard to cross the street.

After 7:35 drop students off in the front of the school.

Students are considered tardy at 7:40.

Dismissal

Please be patient with us, we have over 200 car riders this school year

Car Riders are dismissed after the buses dismiss.

Please remind your student of their car rider #.

All car riders must be picked up at gym doors on Rowan St.

You can not double park to pick up your student.

If you cut the car rider line, you will be asked to circle the block and go to the end.

JCPS counselors, in partnership with students, families, staff, community, and business, will prepare students to be successful lifelong learners. The K–12 Comprehensive Developmental Guidance Program will provide teaching and modeling strategies that create and nurture a safe and positive teaching environment.
