At Western Middle for the Arts, students are encouraged to connect with our community. We work to provide artists with the opportunity to work with local art professionals and art programs. Fostering authentic, real world experiences can offer a glimpse into future career and work opportunities. 

The Nesting Project was sponsored by PNC Broadway and Kentucky Center for the Arts. Inspired by Anastasia, the Musical, 8th grade Western Middle students, created larger than life nesting dolls. Each doll represents the journey of the orphan Anastasia to find her family from Russia to France. 

Due to COVID-19, Anastasia, the Musical and the unveiling of The Nesting Project have been postponed. Stay tuned for revised dates.
