Bowen 5th Grade Fall 2022 Ukulele students created a music video about The Leader in Me 7 Habits using the melody from Bruno Mars's song, You Can Count On Me. 

Bowen 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Bucket Drummers had fun performing their newly learned rhythms and bucket drumming techniques to The Corn Song. 

Bowen Third Grade Fall 2022 Ukulele students learned to play the ukulele chords to the Imagine Dragons song, Thunder.

Bowen Fourth Grade Fall 2022 Ukulele students learned to play the ukulele chords to the Meghan Trainor song, Good to Be Alive.

5th Grade Fall 2022 Bucket Drumming students learned to play rhythms to the patriotic song, "Stars and Stripes Forever" that was a featured performance in Bowen's virtual Veterans Day program.

Ms. Cuenca received an award from the Arts for All Kentucky organization which funded a 5 day artist in residency with local West African Drum and Dance expert, Gregory Acker, and his colleague Hamidou Kovugui. This video features the final performance day of the residency.

Mr. Claussen, our Spring 2022 music student teacher from the University of Louisville, created this video project. It features all Bowen students reciting the musical poem Change Sings by Amanda Gorman. This is a "children's anthem" about finding the power within yourself to make a difference in the world.
