To create our Pumpkin Grams flyer, we used the Canva program. We started with a blank page and then added text boxes and graphics to make our flyer eye-catching and interesting. We had to choose the color scheme and font for the flyer. We also learned how to use the color fill tool. We needed to create this flyer to advertise the 5th Grade outreach project that helped families in need. The money raised from the Pumpkin Grams was used to purchase turkeys for families to eat during their holiday celebrations. We sold 586 Pumpkin Grams and raised over $1172 dollars. We learned in this project that when you create interesting flyers with fun graphics, people will notice it and read it. We believe this flyer helped us to be successful in selling so many Pumpkin Grams.

We created this video to help our PE teacher, Mr. Edge, share the basics about America's favorite sports with our school's first and second grade students. To create the video, the first thing we did was write scripts. Then we recorded videos using the camera app on our iPad. We recorded the videos in front of a green screen so we could use the DoInk app to edit our videos with backgrounds. We searched Safari to find public domain photos for our backgrounds. Then after editing those in the DoInk app, we added it to iMovie and added text and music.
