First we got a newscast story request from our principal and then we found requested interviews with a busdriver and our plant operator. Then we wrote a script for both of the clips. Next we started recording. First we went to our plant operator Mr Sunny and then another day our team had to get there early and record the clip with the bus driver. We got both videos on our second takes. Finally we put all the clips inside of iMovie. We changed the transitions to match our news theme, and then added news titles. Last, we added music from the audio tab. We use the soundtrack called News in iMovie. 

This video came from our school’s newscast. First, we got a story request from the 5th grade teachers about the field trip to the Book Festival. Next we wrote our scripts and scheduled a time to record in our green screen studio. Then we go to our recording studio and record the video. Next we edit the recording in Do Ink by adding a background and our logo to the desk and then we put it in iMovie. Finally we change the transitions, add titles, title slides and add music in imovie. The music we added is “News” in the Theme category. We also used the picture-in-picture setting in iMovie to add pictures that newscast members took with our ipads during the field trip. We used a public domain image that we found on Google for our background.
